Yay! pirate! ok, did this for my last peice for dcon. Will sell as a 4x6 framed print. Char belongs to =emietook i hope she wont mind me taking him to dcon -^_^- love you munkey! I know i was gonna do a wes and micah (i have trouble spelling his name) trade for ya, but i needed a char to practice my pirate drawing skills on. Took me about 9 hours to color, redid the bg several times: this simple one looks best i think. Ok, thats about it.

Oh, and speaking of dcon, have you been keeping up with the yahoogroup? Apparently, all the 'control sheet info by Aug. 1' thing required was item codes and prices - so the pieces themselves are up to us right up until con, as long as they fit with the predetermined prices. And I thought, geeee, wish I had known that sooner!

yea me too, i sent mine in the middle of july, though i did make one last minute change, same title and price. Course now i just need to concentrate on assembling all my raw materials.

i have about 90% of my stuff done, i found out last year that doing everything last minute was really really bad, so i tried to have it all done atleast a month before.

Very wise! Part of my problem is that I missed the first deadline, so I didn't even know I'd made it in until fairly recently.

neither did i, but i figured if i got everything together that, at worst, i would have extra frames and mattes for next year or for sale on ebay.

...Is that creepy or what? I'm doing a painting of a red-haired half-elf pirate for dcon too.... Well, at least it's a girl half-elf, not a boy. That would be TOO scary!

Looks great though - I hope it sells well!

ral pirates wear trenchcoat cape thingies like that ... ARRRGGGGG. so yeah i like this one it makes a great 4x6. not sure about background but it dosen't distract from the character
